Doing my own manicures have always been fun for me! I love switching out my nail colors and matching it to my outfits for a stylish look. In fact, it’s always been enjoyable for me to paint my nails ever since I was a little girl. As of lately, I want to elevate my manicure skills in a salon-quality way while saving money.
I’ve always been fascinated with dried flower manicures, and I finally decided to try it for myself. What makes dried flowers or milk bath flower manicures so popular is that they create a pretty and sophisticated look! It seems like everyone, including myself, adores flowers. A floral manicure is such an unexpected look that truly beautifies your nails. The best part is, I’ve been able to achieve this manicure look for under $20. Easy DIY Pretty Floral Decal Manicure

Materials
To create my flower manicure, I was able to find realistic nail decals from Tattoorary on Etsy! They have a huge collection of amazing temporary tattoos, and their “nail tattoo” decals are also very high-quality. For the nail polishes, I preferred using a baby pink nail polish for my manicure, but you can opt for different nail colors that are in light shades. For other nail polish options, look at my other blog post here. It’s important for the nail color to be light-colored in order for the pigment of the nail decals to show through.

For the top and base coat, you can easily snag those Buy 1, Get 1 Free deals at Sally Hansen. For the total, it ended up being approximately $19.50 total. Pricing may fluctuate depending on where you live. However, if you’re a nail polish lover, you probably have all the nail polishes needed and only need to purchase the $4 nail decals – which ended up being my case.
Instructions
Step 1: Clean your nails dry and apply an even coat of base nail polish.
Step 2: Apply 2 coats of your light-colored nail polish and let it completely dry.
Step 3: Cut each flower decal with a pair of scissors. Then, dip them, one-by-one, in a cup of water for 30-60 seconds.
Step 4: With a pair of tweezers, gently pick up the nail tattoo and carefully apply it to your nail. Let your nail air dry before applying another nail decal. Repeat this step with all your nails. This might take a few tries, but you’ll get the hang of it.
Step 5: After you applied all the nail decals on your nails, apply a top coat to seal your nail art creation!
