February has finally arrived this year, and love is in the air now that Valentine’s Day is coming up! Although I will most likely celebrate it by spending time with my friends, I am so excited to dress for the holiday by wearing lots of floral print, reds, pinks, and heart shaped fashion pieces! When I celebrated Galentine’s Day with Casey from http://completelycasey.com and Silvia from http://lovelysilvia.com, my fellow Houston blogger friends, early this month, we decided to celebrate it in style with a feast full of treats! Because not only do bloggers love to dress up for any occasion, we also love to eat cute shape desserts- especially for Valentine’s Day! Since a few of my friends were interested in how I made my flower crown featured in my last post here, I will be sharing with you how I DIY’d my flower crown as well as an additional treat recipe that is perfect for a Galentine’s Day party. Let’s begin:
FLOWER CROWN DIY:
Materials- store bought flower crown (mine was from Charlotte Russe), fake flowers
Instructions:
1) When purchasing a flower crown, make sure the frame/head piece has layers with flowers spaced between them.
2) Get your fake flowers and start pulling them off from the stem.
3) Arrange the flowers around the flower crown to your preference.
4) Insert the mini tip from the back of the fake flowers into the head piece.
5) Feel free to space out the petals to your liking once all the flowers are inserted into the crown. And you are done! It’s an easy flower crown DIY that can be as colorful, voluminous, and layered to your liking. Not only is it perfect for romantic occasions, but it is also a wonderful piece to wear to music concerts as well! I hope you enjoyed my simple flower crown DIY!

Aw Ressa this post made smile! Those flower crowns sound easy to make and I think I want to make one for a summer shoot in the future. Maybe I can wear it to the beach! Those heart shaped fruit kebabs are so cute, your celebrations looks so pretty, very insta worthy and a lot of fun!
