Swish to Fall: Summer to Fall Outfit WITH MUK LUKS

October has arrived! What a wonderful season to be in Texas! No matter how much I enjoy living in tank tops and shorts, I can’t doubt my love for this month. I’m so excited to start wearing sweaters, booties, and cute scarves, but I know that it will take a while until Houston gets a cold front! Until then, I’m enjoying my time transitioning my summer pieces into Fall-appropriate styles.Based on what I’ve seen in magazines, stores, and online sites, a HUGE trend to watch out for are “retro-chic” looks. Pieces that are popular this season are culottes, palazzo pants, bell sleeves, and flared hemming. I wanted to arise to the occasion when I found (probably one of the cutest) folded culottes! When it comes to everyday Fall fashion, I like to opt for minimalistic jewelry. However, it doesn’t mean that my jewelry has to be boring. I am absolutely obsessed with my “firework” jacket earrings! These pair of earrings are wearable, but it has a unique design that makes it truly dazzling. I get compliments every time I wear them and the best part is that it is currently on sale for less than $10 here. Not only are they perfect for Fall, but I can see it being perfect for the holiday season!

The orange chiffon top I’ve worn has been a coveted piece in my wardrobe for so many years, but the medium orange hue and ruffled neck lining is what makes me want to wear this top every single season. I love the chiffon fabric, soft texture, and how effortless it looks when pairing with other pieces (I even wore it in an old post here). To transition my summer pieces to Fall, I styled my outfit with a pair of culottes! I feel like I am slowly steering away from my skinny pants now that I own these fun, loose-fitting pants. The shape of it is so unique because it has a pleating fold that diagonally crosses over the pants. Plus, the way you look when you are walking makes you look like you’re gliding in thin air!
