I’ve always wanted to take a mini weekend road trip to Austin, and when I was planning out the itinerary, I knew I wanted to find a local bakery that fulfilled my sweet tooth cravings. Because of this, I did my usual method of finding out the best bakeries in Austin: Instagram. When my friend helped me stumble upon Bribery Bakery in Mueller, I knew I had to stop by this adorable, charming bakery bar! Bribery Bakery is a local eatery in Austin, TX where they offer great tasting coffee and sweet treats during the day, and great cocktails for a perfect girl’s night out! What makes this cute bakery so popular in the city is the bright pink decor and their pride for creating sweets that are enjoyable to eat. Being a huge lover for pink and tasty treats, my visit to Bribery Bakery Mueller did not disappoint.
When I saw this bakery from the outside, I loved the bright pink accents and the lovely window white lining details! The exterior design had a fresh, contemporary style from a normal French-esque bakery. The bright pink color and pretty window display looked very feminine, charming, and inviting as I walked towards the door. However, nothing made me more happier than seeing the huge sign “Eat Dessert First” right when I opened the door. I instantly thought, “Well then, don’t mind if I do!”Right when I walked inside the bakery, I felt like I was in heaven. Stepping inside this vibrant bakery was the closest thing to fulfilling my dreams of being in an enchanted pink palace. The vibrant pink wallpaper, tables, and lights around the bakery easily uplifted my mood, and the bakery even had a huge wall at the far right corner that said “EAT DESSERT FIRST.” I imagined that this would be the modern day bakery that Marie-Antoinette would dine in as she tells her country to eat cake! Although Bribery Bakery looked nothing like any other bakery I’ve ever visited, it immediately felt like home. I couldn’t help but take photos around the place and order my meal right away.
If you had to choose any spot in this bakery, I recommend sitting at this cute table by the lavish pink wallpaper and mirror! It’s right by the window, and it gives a great view of the entire bakery while you sip on your coffee and eat some photogenic macaroons. It was a rainy day in Austin, so having brunch inside a bright pink bakery made me feel pretty cozy, if I do say so myself! Plus, I loved how they had rainbow sprinkler shakers in every table; it really created a fun ambiance when I was dining. The menu had a great selection in coffee and espresso, although one suggestion I would make is to include a pink latte in their coffee menu that reflects the pink aesthetic of the bakery! Other than that, when I sipped on my cappuccino, I enjoyed how the fresh, roasted flavor was nicely blended with steamed milk. Perfect for a rainy Saturday! As for the macaroons, I tried the pink colored macaroon with peanut butter flavoring. I find that it surprisingly tasted well with the combination of coffee! The peanut butter flavor was rich! The macaroon had a good flaky texture when you bite into it, but instantly dissolved into fluffy goodness as it melted inside the mouth. If you are a fan of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, this treat would be the perfect alternative in macaroon form. I also got the chance to taste the blue macaroon with birthday cake flavoring, and I also recommend to try that too! In fact, I remembered preferring it over the peanut butter macaroon. All in all, I was pleased to taste the sprinkled, glittery macaroon goodness from Bribery Bakery. You can’t go wrong with trying one when you visit!
The best way to describe my dining experience at Bribery Bakery Mueller was that it was a whimsical experience that left me feeling sweet! I enjoyed everything about the pretty decor, the friendly service, and cute ambiance of the place! If you are a blogger or a social media influencer, I highly recommend visiting this bakery for your photo-worthy occasions. However, anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee and some sweet treats would enjoy dining at this precious bakery in Austin!
