Floral Summer Outfit in the City

Have you ever wanted to doll yourself up for no reason? Maybe you wanted to explore a city with no itinerary? If you say yes, then that’s exactly how I felt when I styled this flirty, casual look. To my surprise, I found a lovely spot in a downtown park with Houston photographer Irene Santos.I absolutely adore floral dresses! I especially love how my dress is made of polyester fabric. It felt so lightweight and comfortable when I wore it outside. Plus, the dress structure is loose fitting as it drapes down to a high-low hemline. It’s one of my perfect go-to dresses for a sunny daytime look!

​I kept the accessories simple with a solid jade stone bangle and a pair of studded earrings. The pairing of the accessories made the look interesting and unique. I love how the mix of colors matched the color scheme of the floral print, too. Overall, the minimal jewelry pieces gave a feminine, romantic effect.Transitioning from summer to fall fashion can be difficult in Texas, so I normally pair summer clothing with earth toned colors. In this case, I combined floral with the color camel. The peep toe wedges are perfect for comfortably walking around the city, and the tiny hole design on the shoe helps air out the feet- a huge plus! My fedora hat effortlessly completed the outfit as it kept my flyaway hairs in place! Overall, camel colored pieces can really amp up a look!
