When I decided to prolong my stay to the Philippines and return back from Japan, I remembered discovering the Venice Piazza in Manila through my cousin’s Facebook account last year. My first reaction when I saw her photos was A) gasping for five minutes, then B) saying a combination of ,”Whaaaa?” “Wowwwww!” and “Oh my goshhhh!” put together. The beautiful design of the grand canal and gondolas made me instantly want to pay a visit in person. Needless to say, this beautiful spot in McKinley Hills was an absolute beauty that surpassed my expectations.
As a person who hasn’t traveled to Europe (yet), I was in awe when I entered inside. I instantly heard Italian arias in the background as I walked across the bridge and faced the grand view of the place. The beautiful walkway and local Italian food shops around Venice Piazza really resembled the photos I have seen from the Italians travel guide books, and for a second, I thought I really was in Europe. I knew I couldn’t have kept this charming spot in Manila to myself, so I hope you enjoy the photos I’ve taken here! Maybe you’ll be inspired to visit Italy and the Philippines at the same time one day! 😉 Until next time!
