Outfits to Wear This Fall Season

Fall fashion is one of my absolute favorite times of the year to dress up. Living in NYC, I’ve learned the art of layering up without looking like a marshmallow. Most importantly, I feel like I’ve found key pieces that are functional yet stylish to wear during the cooler weather. This season, I’ve been inspired to dress outside my comfort zone in terms of how I paired pieces together. While I’ve posted many of them already on my Instagram, I decided to share all the outfit details here for you. So, keep on reading to find out all the great fashion items you should try yourself!

Outfits to Wear This Fall Season

Pink Tartan with the Fur

I personally love this colorful fall look! I love that the tartan print is trendy this season. While it’s a similar design to plaid, I like how the print is slightly more mismatched and incorporates more colors. I loved pairing this shacket with pink arm faux fur warmers. Even though it looks very chic, it’s also very functional because of how it helps prevent the cold air from coming through the arm sleeve hole. I kept the outfit really casual with skinny jeans and white sneakers. To accessorize, I went for a fun corduroy baker hat.

All Black is Fall Chic

An all black outfit looks great all year long, but especially looks timeless during the fall season. I love wearing tights with my tweed black mini skirt. To coordinate, I wore a matching over-the-shoulder black sweater. While the outfit incorporates an all-black theme, I made sure the pieces had interesting textures, silhouettes, and designs. I completed the look with black ankle booties and a saddle bag.

Fall in Floral

It’s no surprise I love wearing floral, but I think it’s also a lovely print to wear during Fall! I think that pairing a floral silk scarf with a cozy and chunky cardigan is key to making it appropriate to wear for the season. Then, I paired the rest of the outfit with basic staple items, such as a black crop top and legging set. While the leggings I wore look basic, it’s also heat tech and keep you warm during the cold weather!

Furry Pink

Lastly, I had to bring back the pink faux fur coat for the fall season. While I first sported this look last season, I feel like having a statement coat is an investment piece that can really make you stand out in the city every year. I paired my colored fur coat with shiny leather leggings and a neutral colored bag. I definitely see myself wearing this outfit over and over again!
