The Pretty Spots From Venice to Santa Monica: Travel Guide

by adminupdated on July 16, 2018May 22, 2018

A trip to Los Angeles will never leave you empty handed when it comes to the endless adventures from each neighborhood; it surely did not disappoint when I arrived in Venice. The small, boho beach town that’s along the west coast of LA is nothing short of beautiful the moment I checked-in at my hotel, …

The Most Colorful Hotel Near Venice Beach

by adminupdated on February 1, 2019May 10, 2018

This post is in partnership with Pacifica Hotels on The Kinney Venice Beach Hotel. All opinions are my own. Far away from Disneyland and the Hollywood Walk of Fame lies a colorful boutique hotel that’s conveniently less than 1 mile away from the beach. After spending my first trip to LA in DTLA, West Hollywood, …

A Mini Texas Roadtrip to Chappell Hill: Travel Guide

The Comprehensive NYC Subway-Style Travel Guide

by adminupdated on July 16, 2018April 8, 2018

While I was in New York, I took time outside the bright city lights of Manhattan to explore the beautiful boroughs surrounding the island. Although so much of what makes New York City so appealing to the world is the hustle and bustle, it can be intimidating to find all the sightseeing spots seamlessly without …

Five years in this city, and it still surprises me Five years in this city, and it still surprises me every day. 🌆

New York took a girl from Houston, Texas and gave her a whole new life - friends who became family, sidewalks that became memories, a skyline I never get tired of looking up at.

Here’s to the version of me who took the leap, and everything this city taught her along the way.

Full reflection is up on the blog now at www.reesarei.com, link in bio! 📖✨

Surprised my husband with a Michelin star birthday Surprised my husband with a Michelin star birthday dinner…in a subway station 😭 @noksunyc ✨ Nōksu (pronounced “NOHK-soo”) is hidden behind an unmarked door at the Herald Square subway entrance in Koreatown, and it might be the most unique dining experience in NYC. Multi-course Korean tasting menu, incredible presentation, and flavors we’re still thinking about. 🍽️💫

📍49 W 32nd St, New York, NY 10001 (Herald Square subway station entrance)
💰 Tasting menu runs approx. $225-245 per person (excludes tax + gratuity)
📅 Reservations required, book on Resy…entry code is sent the day-of!

In honor of the Knicks parade happening today 🧡💙 In honor of the Knicks parade happening today 🧡💙

I had to share this special moment✨This city has a way of making you feel like you belong, and watching the Knicks win felt like one of those full-circle New York moments. I came here a Texas girl who didn’t know a single thing about basketball, and somehow this team converted me into a fan for life 🏀 @nyknicks

Summer is HERE and I cannot believe how fast this Summer is HERE and I cannot believe how fast this season is flying 🌸 My girls and I kicked off the season with a whimsical-themed picnic: macarons, a dreamy pink cake, fruit salad, all the snacks, and my favorite people by my side. Honestly, the universe really said this is how summer begins and I am not complaining one bit 🧺🌷

There may or may not be a life update coming soon but for now just know that this day was everything and more ✨ Here’s to long sunny days, good food, and even better company ☀️

Shoutout to @lydi.lsn @nunuhomestudio @progress07 @carissacristobal @kpamulya @thealiceli @anniehua for making this pretty picnic party come to light ☀️

I’ve been wearing @fankaofficial compression set on my runs lately as I prep for my next race event, and honestly…it’s a game changer. The body sculpting and compression tech actually makes you feel supported and held in all the right places while you’re moving.

Running to Roosevelt Island in this all-pink set felt like a whole vibe. If you’re looking for activewear that works as hard as you do, Fanka is it!
