Okay this is giving European summer and I didn’t e Okay this is giving European summer and I didn’t even need my passport 🏛️✨ @untermeyerpark

Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers has these stunning classical gardens, sphinx statues, Roman columns, and views over the Hudson that genuinely made me feel like I teleported to an Italian villa for the afternoon. It’s less than an hour outside the city and honestly one of the most underrated day trips near NYC. Swipe through and tell me this doesn’t look like Europe 👀

Five years in this city, and it still surprises me Five years in this city, and it still surprises me every day. 🌆

New York took a girl from Houston, Texas and gave her a whole new life - friends who became family, sidewalks that became memories, a skyline I never get tired of looking up at.

Here’s to the version of me who took the leap, and everything this city taught her along the way.

Full reflection is up on the blog now at www.reesarei.com, link in bio! 📖✨
