The Perfect Spring Accessories to Wear on Your Next Vacation

This year, Spring fashion has never been better. With every magazine spread I’ve read in Vogue, InStyle, and Elle, the desire to experiment with my style has been refueled and inspired with an array of pretty bright colors and bold jewelry fit for a runway! With all the fun new trips I traveled this past month, I couldn’t help but delve into the fun trends this season brings.​When I think of spring fashion, I think of pastel colors, abstract prints, and elegant textures. However, the spring and summer jewelry trends are also implementing those details in a whole new way. Because spring and summer vacations will heavily influence the way you dress, I decided to showcase jewelry pieces I’ve been loving this month that can be worn in a multiple array of outfits! Who wouldn’t appreciate new pair of colorful sunglasses for their next vacay? Even with a neutral colored outfit, the pop of color from sunnies can create an element of fun. Not only are sunglasses coming in different colors, but many designer brands are also launching new styles and shapes. I’ve been obsessed with the Last Lolita Les Specs frames for forever, but I found a nice dupe for them at Aldo for $16. I think that investing in a great pair of sunnies is important in order to securely protect your eyes from UV rays, but there are definitely affordable options out there that are also trendy this season.

It was thanks to social media that the popular Cult Gaia bags were a sell out, and it’s still trendy today! Now, bags made of straw, yarn, and/or bamboo material are what’s getting all the attention this season. The man-made designs are what make the bags stand out from luxury designer purses in the market, and I am obsessed with the “tropical vibes” it brings when I wear one. The fun, bright colors from this Rebecca Minkoff bag make me especially want to book a beach trip!

It’s more likely that you’ve seen tassel earrings this year than previous seasons, but they are popular with good reason! It’s considerably the new jewelry statement because of all the cute colors and layered tassel designs that will make you stand out in the crowd. If you have colored eyes or hair, wearing a colorful stack of tassel earrings can really compliment your features. Sunhats have always been the quintessential spring and summer accessory for travel and it’s making a comeback again this season! Long gone are the days when floppy straw hats are reserved for the beach! Now, sunhats with adorable bows, sequined lettering, and rainbow yarn are seen in both warmer and colder climate weather, and I have yet to see one I’m not obsessed with. This navy blue bow sunhat is one of my favorites, and the best part is that it’s affordable than most designer sunhats too.
