Thanksgiving break is here! It’s the time of year when everybody is dealing with cooking recipes and in-laws, and unfortunately, finding a great outfit for Thanksgiving is the least of anyone’s problems. Then again, it’s not so easy to find a outfit that is flattering before and after three plates of dinner. So, I wanted to share with you three pooch-proof Thanksgiving outfits in three fashion styles: casual, edgy, and girly. Plus, I’m achieving these looks with one key item: an olive suede vest from Shop Pink Blush. For the holidays, you can create many different outfits when you have a great staple item. These outfits are not only perfect for the Fall festivities, but can also be worn all season long. Let’s begin:
Casual Look
If Thanksgiving isn’t the fanciest holiday to celebrate this year, it doesn’t mean you can’t look fabulous! Chiffon tops are great to wear for dinnertime because of the flowy, loose fabric. I love the orange chiffon top I’m wearing because of the ruffled neckline, pleating, and bow! The best part is that it’s comfortable and incredibly forgiving while you feast! With my vest, I decided to let it hang loose by untying it. Notice how the vest drapes over the top- it’s a great way to “cover you up” while still showing off your top underneath. Plus, the ruffles draped in the front of the vest creates a silhouette in the body that is flattering to anyone avoiding attention in the hips and waist area. To make the outfit fun, I paired it with medium-washed ripped skinny jeans that are super stretchy and have a mid rise. The jean buttons are covered from the top and can be unbuttoned at any time you feel bloated! Lastly, I paired it with my black bootie wedges to help elongate the legs and give extra height. Once the outfit is complete, you can confidently attend your Thanksgiving party in style.
Edgy Look
This outfit screams edgy, sexy, and chic! You will definitely be a showstopper with this outfit! I wanted all the clothing pieces for this look to be monotone in black in order for the vest to be the statement piece for this look. With my black long sleeve shirt, I tied the vest around the waist in order for the folded ruffles to cover the lower belly. This is an easy trick that hides the food baby from peeking out! Plus, tying the vest is an effortless way to look dressy and sophisticated. I paired this outfit with faux leather leggings that are surprisingly comfortable and stretchy! The shine from the fabric subtly draws attention to legs, which veers attention from the belly as well. My knee-high black boots helps elongate and add height, making the outfit cohesive and flattering to the body. My statement necklace completes the look, making this outfit chic and ready for the celebration.
Girly Look
If you want to achieve a sweet, colorful, and pretty look, then this outfit is calling your name. What I adore most about this outfit is how incredibly easy it was to achieve! Wear a midi dress, vest, necklace, heels, and you’re good to go! This midi length dress is perfect for Thanksgiving because it cinches around the chest and flows down, which doesn’t constrict around the stomach. The vibrant floral print creates focus on the entire body and avoids attention to the waist area. Because it’s a one-piece outfit, layering it with a vest is a perfect and easy way to elevate your outfit. For this look, I tied it at the back, which helps the vest shape the body without tightening the tummy. The flesh toned heels are perfect for appearing taller and making the outfit look classic. For accessories, I paired it with a simple gold plated choker to achieve that high-class ladylike look. Now, you can join in on the Thanksgiving feast!

My favorite look is the edgy style! During the fall I love wearing dark tone colors and black is always sexy. The touch of the vest is great especially because since I always want to hide that stubborn baby fat.
