Now that my current makeup collection consists of more travel-sized products, I became more selective with what I carry with me on my trips. Need tips? When purchasing the right makeup product, consider your skin and hair type first. If you are aware of any allergies, please refer to the ingredients and check the product’s claim (ie, long-wearing for 24 hours, dewey skin, minimizes pores, etc). Although a beauty product may be popular, not every product will work for everyone’s needs. If there is an option, ask for a sample of the product and try it out during the week before purchasing. Once you decide to buy the product, make sure that you store it in an area that’s easy to remember when you’re ready to pack for a trip.
