Chicago Riverwalk, Reesa rei

So much could be said about the beauty of Chicago during the Fall season! Being from Houston, I loved experiencing the crisp air and changing leaves as I walked around downtown. I felt so lucky to be able to visit a seasonal city like Chicago. The city has such a unique vibe that it makes you want to explore – and for me, I knew I needed a nice wardrobe to match my adventures.

Yet, I felt myself second-guessing on what to pack. Chicago was a new city for me to visit, and I didn’t want to make a rookie mistake. I wanted to look chic and trendy, but I didn’t want to be shivering by the end of the day. Yet, I also loathed the idea of being that tourist who looks like a stuffed marshmallow in a floor-length puffy jacket and matching ski mask. Is there an in-between for all of this? Luckily, I felt like I really mastered styling my outfits for my trip to Chicago. Take a look at what I wore when I was there…
