Even after I attended my second season of New York Fashion Week, I find this to be true: People may be invited for the shows, but many come for the people. I, for one, have seen some of the best outfit inspirations of my life simply from standing in line to see a show. The amount of colorful faux fur coats and avant-garde shoe designs are endless when I was staring at the front of the line outside Spring Street Studios. It’s apparent that looking your best matters.
The greatest compliment one will ever tell you in NYFW is that they love your outfit, and trust me, I’ve never forgotten the joyous feeling I felt when people said those four words to me. It’s beautiful to find people you can connect with through a common passion, and the fashion industry has brought me many new friendships from it.
Like I previously mentioned in my recent blog post, I decided to style pieces that I already owned in my closet. After attending all my NYFW shows, I’m happy to inspire other bloggers that you can still have a great time in NYFW without spending a dime on your outfit. Without further ado, here are the outfits (with shoppable links included) that I wore to NYFW’s FW19 season.

Really love ‘Fringe Me’ outfit and the ‘Beetlejuice’ pants. The fringe gives me a Cher vibe with a punk rock edge.

Your outfits never cease to amaze me, Reesa! I think the colorful red and pink outfit in Times Square is my favorite, but then again, all these outfits look great on you! P.S. You definitely make me want to get a fringe jacket now!
