I knew I had to visit The Floral Escape in New York City, and the experience did not disappoint! For those of you reading this and are not familiar with The Floral Escape, it is a widely popular art activation experience. As a floral enthusiast, you get to tour 12 different installation rooms filled with the most beautiful floral arrangements. It’s perfect to visit for photo-ops, special milestone events, and can even set up a private party!
A few months back, I was able to get the opportunity to have a complimentary visit as they promoted Poppi drinks, and I am happy to finally share with you all the fun photo-ops I’ve had while I was there!
INFORMATION ABOUT THE FLORAL ESCAPE
Cost:
- ~$30 for adults
- ~$15 for children
- Children 2 and under can come for free!
Seasonal discounts may be given throughout the year, but I would recommend checking their website for more ticket promo information.
Transportion:
The Floral Escape in New York City is actually located inside the Roosevelt Field Mall. I was able to take the LIRR train (via Hempstead Branch) to get there, but I would highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft or driving yourself since parking is free and I find that walking there was long (over 20 min) from the station. I learned later that there is a specialty bus that directly goes to the Roosevelt Field Bus Term – but I didn’t take that route. I wish I did, though!
What to Bring:
I noticed people would bring their own camera equipment to help do shoots, but I ended up just taking photos with my iPhone! Since TFE is inside a mall, you can definitely bring multiple outfits to change into. There are also camera ring light rentals available for you to purchase for temporary use.
What to Wear:
Since each floral room has a specific color/color scheme, I’d say that wearing solid colors would help with complimenting all rooms! While there is no specific dress code, I find that dressing up helped with making the photos turn out to be professional looking. If you wanted to know details about what I wore for the experience, here it is below:

Greeting from Houston. It is a seasonal pop-up event as I doubt that I will be in NYC this winter. Way too cold from HTX.
