I’ve Been MIA + Here’s What Happened.

by adminupdated on August 14, 2018August 14, 20188 Comments on I’ve Been MIA + Here’s What Happened.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin I will be the first to admit that this explanation is long overdue. The amount of time drafting this post and the excessive excuses I’ve reasoned in my mind thinking, “This isn’t interesting enough and nobody cares,” was what made me halt from even typing a single word about what …

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Items that are Perfect for Travel

by adminupdated on July 31, 2018July 30, 2018

I wish I was one of those women who didn’t wear makeup, who grew out of wearing winged eyeliner, and didn’t desire to sport a red lipstick on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, I’ll be the first to admit that even a traveling schedule can’t shake my hardcore beauty obsession. Now that my current makeup collection …

The Best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items for the Stylish Jetsetter

by adminupdated on July 25, 2018July 25, 2018

Thank you to Lili Alessandra for sponsoring the giveaway included in this post. To be completely honest, my love for shopping has dwindled every year since I started blogging. As much as I love fashion, the thought of splurging on a new pair of shoes doesn’t satisfy me as much as a trip to Tulum. …

The Inside Look of Royal Sonesta Houston

by adminupdated on July 29, 2018July 18, 2018

This blog post is in sponsorship with Royal Sonesta Houston. All opinions are my own. The secret to “living large” in Houston is to stay at a fancy schmancy hotel, they say. Sounds simple, right? Get a bottle of wine, order room service, and dance around in your pj’s with a window view of the city …

The Prettiest Instagrammable Food Spots in Houston

by adminupdated on December 7, 2018July 18, 2018

The summer season has been making me want to try more food, and with every brunch planning, I keep asking my friends, “Does the place have a pretty aesthetic?” “Does the restaurant have some cute food?” Great tasting food isn’t just the only factor when it comes to the food industry these days. With sites …

The Quick Solo Travel Guide to Anaheim, CA

by adminupdated on July 17, 2018July 5, 2018

When you first hear about Anaheim, you’re probably thinking about Disneyland and the millions of crowded young families walking across W Katella Ave. This was what I experienced firsthand when I stayed in Anaheim the first few days during my time in California. I remembered vulnerably sharing on my Instagram Stories how much I felt out of place …

Five years in this city, and it still surprises me Five years in this city, and it still surprises me every day. 🌆

New York took a girl from Houston, Texas and gave her a whole new life - friends who became family, sidewalks that became memories, a skyline I never get tired of looking up at.

Here’s to the version of me who took the leap, and everything this city taught her along the way.

Full reflection is up on the blog now at www.reesarei.com, link in bio! 📖✨

💰 Tasting menu runs approx. $225-245 per person (excludes tax + gratuity)

In honor of the Knicks parade happening today 🧡💙 In honor of the Knicks parade happening today 🧡💙

I had to share this special moment✨This city has a way of making you feel like you belong, and watching the Knicks win felt like one of those full-circle New York moments. I came here a Texas girl who didn’t know a single thing about basketball, and somehow this team converted me into a fan for life 🏀 @nyknicks

Summer is HERE and I cannot believe how fast this Summer is HERE and I cannot believe how fast this season is flying 🌸 My girls and I kicked off the season with a whimsical-themed picnic: macarons, a dreamy pink cake, fruit salad, all the snacks, and my favorite people by my side. Honestly, the universe really said this is how summer begins and I am not complaining one bit 🧺🌷

There may or may not be a life update coming soon but for now just know that this day was everything and more ✨ Here’s to long sunny days, good food, and even better company ☀️

Shoutout to @lydi.lsn @nunuhomestudio @progress07 @carissacristobal @kpamulya @thealiceli @anniehua for making this pretty picnic party come to light ☀️

I’ve been wearing @fankaofficial compression set on my runs lately as I prep for my next race event, and honestly…it’s a game changer. The body sculpting and compression tech actually makes you feel supported and held in all the right places while you’re moving.

Running to Roosevelt Island in this all-pink set felt like a whole vibe. If you’re looking for activewear that works as hard as you do, Fanka is it!
